Climatic spa town Galtür ... where pollen has no chance
Allergy sufferers can literally breathe easy here. The air in Galtür is almost free of annoying pollen. This is also officially confirmed: for more than 15 years, Galtür has held the status of a “climatic spa town”. To ensure this remains the case, climate stations continuously record pollutants and important weather data. The data is regularly reviewed by the central office in Vienna.
The combination of low-pollen air and a favourable climate is a balm for all allergy sufferers. Here in Tyrol, you can finally enjoy sports to your heart’s content again. Whether mountain biking, hiking or climbing, or horse riding, tennis or beach volleyball – in the climatic spa town of Galtür, all of this is a real pleasure even for people with pollen allergies. And if medical attention is needed, competent medical care is of course also available in Galtür.
Top quality with distinction “With Galtür mountain spring water, tea and coffee taste even more aromatic.”
The untouched nature of Tyrol can also be tasted. This becomes especially evident in the drinking water from the Galtür mountain spring. The alpine spring water contains only a low level of sodium and is therefore gentle on the heart and circulation. With a hardness level of just 1.7 dH, it is also wonderfully soft. As a result, it is ideal for mixed drinks or for preparing coffee and tea, as the Galtür mountain spring water allows their full aroma to unfold.
Of course, the alpine spring water is also a refreshing and delicious drink on its own. In January 2004, the Tyrolean state government awarded the Galtür mountain spring the “Drinking Water Quality Seal”. The water quality is tested annually to ensure consistently high standards, allowing every guest to look forward to many refreshing sips of Galtür mountain spring water.
